No doubt, the cool Autumn winds have finally arrived. Of course, this is Boulder, so summer is certain to poke its head up a few more times, but the leaves are falling, and that brings with it news...
The last Wednesday Evening Market
Wednesday, October 7, (4 to 8 pm) marks the last of the Wednesday Evening Farmers Markets. While I'm sure Antonio would like nothing more than to spend all winter warming himself by the heat of the pizza ovens, the rest of the vendors and patrons apparently think otherwise!
Actually, that conjures up quite the image: Antonio Laudisio, standing in several feet of snow, ice coating his beard and mustache, happily serving up pizza for all who dare to brave the elements! Well, until the 'Winter Markets' come around, we'll have to wait for the spring! There's still one week left to catch the Wednesday market, and a month left of Saturday markets, so come on down and support your local farmers, and say 'Hello' to Antonio!
